LDC Long Distance Inc. is an authorized broker of several telecommunications companies, whose plans are listed on this site. We have been selling long-distance services to customers in United States since 1998 and in Canada since 2000.

Is this service offered in Canada or any other country?
We specialize in North American market, namely United States and Canada. If you live in Canada please visit our Canadian portal. For customers who reside in other countries we provide callback service. For more information about this service, send us an email or reach us by telephone.

What is the rate for my country?
All rates can be found using our best rate finder. From home page select a country of your interest and click "Go!" to view a list of all rates in increasing order.

Which plan is the best for me?
Each of our customers has specific needs. You should choose the plan that provides the best rates for the countries you call the most.

Is there a fee for this service?
There is no monthly fee associated with long distance plans except Super Call and EZ Connect.

EZ Connect Plan has a monthly fee of $5.00 if your bill is less then $10. If your bill before taxes is more than $10, this monthly fee is waived. Super Call has $2.99 monthly fee.

Are there any hidden charges?
No. There are no connection charges and all minutes are billed at the same rate.

Is there a special calling period?
There are NO peak or off-peak periods to worry about. With us, enjoy the same flat rates, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Best of all, these are NOT promotional rates.

How do I dial overseas?
1+ long-distance plans: 011 + country + city + number
Dial Around plans: 10-10-.... + 011 + country + city + number or
1-800-...-.... + country + city + number
VoIP plans: 011 + country + city + number

How do I dial within US and Canada?
1+ long-distance plan: 1 + area code + number
Dial Around plana: 10-10-.... + 1 + area code + number or
1-800-...-.... + 1 + area code + number
VoIP plans: 1 + area code + number

Will I receive a bill?
Yes. A long distance company that supplies your service will send you a detailed bill on a monthly basis. Some companies provide optional Internet billing, so you can view your bill online.

What are the payment options?
You can pay your bill by check, money order or a credit card.

Is registration necessary?
POSITIVELY YES FOR ALL OF OUR PLANS. It is very important that customers register. This is the only way to ensure that you will receive a plan you want and that a company you choose will charge the rates we advertise. Why wait? Register with us today!

Do I have to switch from my current long distance company?
Direct dial plans require switching from your existing long-distance company to the company of your choice. If you select dial around plans, you will stay with your existing carrier.

When can I start using 1+long distance?
At the time we finalize your application, we will let you know which company you will use to make your long distance calls. After 4-5 business days, please dial 1-700-555-4141 from the phone that you subscribed with us. This is a TOLL-FREE TEST number used by many long distance carriers. By dialing this number now you will receive an automated massage telling you the name of your current company. If you call back in 5 business days and the greeting tells you that your long-distance company is the one you requested, you are safe to make long-distance calls.

What do I do if I want to sign up additional lines or if I want to change my name, address, telephone number or local telephone company?
Please call us! Not only that we will ensure that your local company doesn't switch you to a plan you didn't request (which usually costs more), but also we will keep the up-to-date info of your account. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to call us and let us know of any change in your address, telephone numbers and local telephone companies.

What is the difference between interstate and intrastate rate?
Interstate rate applies to calls between two different US states. Intrastate rate applies to calls within a state. For example, if you call from San Francisco, CA, and your friend answers in LA, CA, the intrastate rate applies. If the same person calls a friend in Parma, OH, the interstate rate applies.

What area codes are 1-877 and 1-888 and do I pay for them?
1-877 and 1-888 numbers work like traditional toll-free 1-800 numbers. So, you can call us or send us a fax free of long-distance charges.

How do I dial 1-877-JEFTINO?
Phone keys have letters adjacent to numbers. For example number 5 has adjacent letters J, K and L. To dial "J" press the "5" key. By dialing the letters you will actually dial 1-877-533-8466, which is our telephone number.
